This digital photographic series “Menagerie” shows the relationship between living things and their ecosystems. An ecosystem may be as small as a tidal pool or a rotting log or as large as an ocean or continent or forest. Each ecosystem consists of a community of plants and animals in an environment that supplies them with raw materials for life
Through research I placed these animals in their natural habitat, such as seashore, woodland, grasslands, and the arctic, using my landscapes and giving this series an authentic quality even though my digital images have ventured to give them the imagination of art.
